I called the Oncology today and spoke with the physician’s assistant for my oncologist. She told me the bone scan and lung scan were fine, but there was a spot on the liver. Today I had my second surgery, a resection of the left breast and had a port inserted in my right chest area for chemotherapy. The pathologist will examin the tissue removed to see if the margins have cleared this time around. I was out of the hospital by noon and glad to be home.
